Welcome to VUVX2013, the 38th International conference on Vacuum Ultraviolet and X-ray Physics.
It will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province, China during 12-19 July, 2013. It is hosted by University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
This international conference will bring together scientists from countries all over the world working in the field of developing synchrotron, laser, or plasma based sources of electromagnetic radiation in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV), soft X-ray and hard X-ray regions, and/or developing novel applications of these sources in a variety of fields.
Important dates and deadlines are the following:

| 30 April 2013: | abstract (Oral) submission deadline |
| 30 April 2013: | early registration deadline |
| 15 May 2013: | author notification |
